Free Basic Notary Public Service Available

 

  •  School field trips and medical release forms etc.
  •  NO property transfer, real estate, wills, marriages, or other items requiring an attorney or related to fees collected by Okaloosa County.
  •  A current picture ID is required. 
  • Please call ahead to make sure that one of our notaries (Marie or Sandy) is available or if you have any questions about this service.

Fax service is available for $1 per page

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Class led by volunteer instructor. Spanish to English, presently. Volunteers fluent in English and another language welcome.

Poetry Jam


Poets and musicians are invited to bring their work and instruments to a free-form open-mic poetry reading and jam session.

The First Tuesday Talk Series is at 10:30 a.m. every first Tuesday of the month. The session runs about an hour. Bookmarks with upcoming titles and speakers are printed quarterly.

Free Tax Preparation & E-filing 2017


  Thursday, February 2nd through Tuesday, April 18th.

 First come, first served.
  • Tuesdays 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

  • Saturdays 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Mondays by appointment only 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Musicians Wanted


The library also has a local musicians section in its music CD collection. Musicians from Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton Counties in Florida and Escambia, Covington and Geneva Counties in Alabama are invited to send their CDs to the library. The collection will be searchable through the online public access catalog.

Computer Tutoring


Beginning one-on-one computer tutoring especially for senior citizens is available by appointment.

Meeting Room Rental


The public meeting room (maximum seating capacity 80) is available by reservation and subject to approval by the Library Director. A signed agreement and payment in advance is required.
