Five-Week Poetry Writing & Performance Workshop Course for Middle and High School Students
3-5 p.m. every Tuesday March 6th through April 3rd
If your poem is worth writing down, it’s worth sharing with others. Workshop includes tips for writing poems that work well as performance pieces as well as tricks for editing and memorizing poems you can present proudly in your unique voice. The last class includes a class performance. Performing poetry is easier and way, way more fun than you think!

Free AARP Tax-Aide Preparation 
AARP Tax-Aide will once again be offering free tax preparation to low and middle income residents (with special consideration given to those age 60 and older) February 2nd through April 16th on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign-in is required.
Hours are the same as last year: Mondays from 2 to 6 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tax forms (including 1099s) may be picked up free of charge in the reference area. Forms not available at the library may be downloaded and printed from www.irs.gov. The library charges $.15 per page for printing.
