The Friends of the Crestview Library are concerned citizens who want to help the Crestview Robert L.F. Sikes Library meet the educational, recreational, and intellectual needs of Crestview and the surrounding areas. With Friends pulling together, we can help the Library and its staff provide the services and programs the citizens of North Okaloosa County expect and deserve.

What will the Friends do?
Organize people in the community who love books, the Library and who care about its future.

Promote fundraising for library programs and stimulate gifts, endowments and bequests to the Library.


Support new programs to develop and extend the Library's resources.

Inform the community of the Library and everything it has to offer.

The Friends of the Crestview Library need members to serve on committees, as board members, and to volunteer for work on our various programs and events. Without volunteers, our efforts will not be effective.

Book Sales
The Friends of the Crestview Library conduct semi-annual book sales with proceeds benefiting the library. Dates for 2012 are April 13th, 14th, & 15th and October 5th, 6th, & 7th.

The Friday Early Bird Sales are from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A $2 admission is charged for non-Friends members. Saturday and Sunday Book Sale hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with no admission charge.
