Accelerated Reader Program
The Okaloosa County School District has purchased all Renaissance Learning Accelerated Reader book tests for all elementary schools. No more searching your individual elementary school’s list! Now anyone can search for AR books online for free! That means parents, guardians, and students can conduct book searches by author, readability level, point value, and topic. Go to
www.arbookfind.com or click on the AR icon above.

Story Time
Children who are at least three years old (unless they are coming with an older sibling) meet at
10:15 a.m. on the following Wednesdays or Thursdays for stories, songs, and finger-plays. You may stay with your child or drop your child off (depending on your child’s comfort and behavior). If your child gets louder than Ms. Heather, please take them out until they are calm enough to listen and participate. After the program, make a simple craft with your child!

Time |
On Early Release Thursday each month, children ages six and up gather to put their creative energy to work and create a craft. (See dates below). Registration is recommended! We’ll hold a craft for you until 3:00 p.m. and then craft with kids present in the library while supplies last! Start your craft any time between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. (Children need to finish their craft by 4:00 p.m.) Parents are welcome to visit once and get a feel for the class. (Then, enjoy the library!) We’ll bring your child to you when he/she finishes. (Parents, notice the new day of the week and new time!)
