Crestview History

 
The City of Crestview was founded in 1916 and serves as the county seat for Okaloosa County, Florida. Located in the Panhandle of Florida, the City of Crestview has a population of over 23,000 and is one of the fastest growing cities in Northwest Florida. The Crestview Fire Department was founded in 1938. Today, the Fire Department protects 16.2 square miles of the City with a total of three Fire Stations and a fourth station being planned for construction in the north end of the City. The current Fire Chief is Anthony Holland.

The primary mission of the City of Crestview Fire Department is to provide superior quality emergency and nonemergency customer service to the residents of Crestview, visitors and neighboring communities. We are committed to serve with the highest standard of integrity in a courteous manner to protect life, property and the environment. We feel like its "Our family helping yours - whatever it takes".
