Cook-Off
Located on Main Street, this Chamber of Commerce event in March includes a variety of games and
entertainment mixed with businesses showcasing their services. The bar-b-que
cook-off features area restaurants, dining establishments, organizations, and
individuals competing for awards.

Spring Carnival
In late March of each year, there is an annual spring carnival sponsored by the City's Historic Preservation Board
at Spanish Trail Park.
Easter in the Park
The City's Easter Egg Hunt for Children is held at the Spanish Trail Park each
year on the Saturday before Easter. In addition to the egg hunt, children can
usually enjoy a train ride, a moon walk, a 16 foot slide, and a sea of balls.
Hosted by the Spanish Trail Cruisers Car Club,
the event is held annually on a weekend in late April in the downtown area. Classic and vintage cars of all kinds, makes and models take the visitors back in time.
Arts and crafts, music and live entertainment plus a review of some marvelous automobiles of the
past are part of this annual event.

Old Spanish Trail
Festival This
Old Spanish Trail Festival Society event salutes the area's rich heritage every year from
the middle of April through the first weekend in May.
Most years, festivities will include a treasure hunt, craft and food vendors, a beauty pageant, carnival rides, and
various local musicians performing on the last day of the event. Old Spanish Trail refers to the route used by the three European countries that settled the area; Spain, England, and France. It was a trade route between El Paso, Texas and Jacksonville,
Florida. The
majority of the festivities are held at Spanish Trail Park.

Carver-Hill May Day Festival and Museum Day
Held at Allen Park on a Saturday in late May, this Carver-Hill Memorial and
Historical Society sponsored festival is
family-oriented with sports competitions, entertainment, food, museum tours, and a wonderful community parade.

Fourth of July Celebration The
Parks and Recreation Department, together with other departments of the City, puts on the annual fireworks display and activities with music and games for the kids at Spanish Trail Park. Thousands of spectators from all around the area attend annually.
Downtown Fall Festival A Main Street Crestview Association and City sponsored event held each year on the Saturday
before Halloween. Featuring special entertainment, games, treats and displays for children of all ages on Saturday afternoon and evening.
Various vendors and musical entertainers are participants throughout the event.

Fall Circus
In early November of each year, there is an annual fall circus sponsored by the Main Street Crestview Association at Spanish Trail Park.
Veteran's Day Parade
Jointly sponsored by the Crestview Veterans Affairs Committee and the City of Crestview, an annual parade is staged in the downtown area on Main Street to honor veterans who served America in peacetime and wartime.
The parade is held each year in the early part of November. Organizations, civic clubs, Boy and Girl Scouts, school children, parents and especially veterans are special dignitaries.
The parade ends at the Veterans Memorial located near the Okaloosa County
Courthouse.

Christmas Parade The Main Street Crestview Association, under the sponsorship of the City of Crestview, stages the annual Christmas Parade on the first Saturday evening of December.
The parade starts at 5:30 pm
and proceeds north on Main Street in Downtown Crestview. Local schools, civic organizations, churches and businesses
put on a great parade for all to enjoy complete with lots
of lights, marching bands, colorfully decorated floats and best of all...Santa
Claus!
Santa Claus will be riding in the parade again this year and expects to greet
and hear about wish list items from many area youngsters at the courthouse
terrace gazebo site immediately following the parade.
